We certainly now understand why Essaouira is called Windy City Africa!  Sheltering in the van from wind and rain; little did we realise how good we had it yesterday!  The rest of the day looks like this (thanks to Matt for setting us up with lots of viewing content!):

Essaouira cocktails

Not quite the Rat & Parrot at the southern tip of the continent, but perfect cocktails Essaouira style.  Local oranges, Gibraltar duty free Absolut and some sparkling Perrier, with ambience created by the solar powered fairy lights.  It was Friday night after all!
